2009-2010 Dance  Babbette Murdock, Instructor.  We are still accepting registrations for the 2009-2010 dance season. Cost: $25 per class, per month.  Classes held at Algonac Community Center.  Fees will be due before the 1^st of each month, $5 late fee will apply after the 1^st of the month.  One class             $25 per month, two classes $50 per month, three classes $75 per month.  Call the DRC office to register @ 810-794-8896. Jazzercise Aerobics  Get a head start on your 2010 New Year resolution!  Join DRC for our fitness classes focusing on cardio, strength and stretch moves for a total body workout.  Classes are Monday and Thursday from 8:00 – 8:45 p.m. at the Algonac Community Center.  Cost is $25 per class, per month.  Classes begin 11/16/09.

 Mommy & Me  Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m., starting November 17^th at Martial Arts Fitness Center in Clay Twp.  Teaches coordination, socialization and an introduction to martial art skills to Mom and child walking through 3 years old.   Cost: $30 for 5 weeks.  Registration through DRC office by 11/16/09.

Women’s Self Defense  Get in shape while learning valuable and practical self-defense skills.  Tuesdays, 7:30-8:30 p.m., starting Nov. 24^th.  Cost: $45.00, 4 weeks. Classes held at Martial Arts Fitness Center in Clay Twp.  Pre-registration required through DRC office by 11/23/09. 

Little Dragons  Thursdays, 4:45 p.m., starting Nov. 19^th. Cost: $45, 4 wks.  Ages 3-5 yrs.  Learn stranger awareness techniques, social skills and martial arts while having fun!  Classes held at Martial Arts Fitness Center.  Pre-registration required through DRC office by 11/18/09.

 Introduction to Martial Arts (ages 6-11)  ONLY $15 for 4 weeks learn basic martial art skills, street-smart safety, stranger danger awareness and a bully buster program, all while having fun!  Saturday mornings 11:00 a.m. – Noon at Martial Arts Fitness Center in Clay Twp.   Class dates: 11/21, 12/5, 12/12 & 12/19.  Pre-registration required through DRC office by 11/20/09.

 Little Kickers  Simple soccer skills and fundamentals for 5 to 8 year olds. This 4-week program will be held from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evenings at Pte. Tremble Elementary.  Fall session begins October 14^th; Winter session begins January 13^th. Cost: $20. 

 Rec Ball  A great introduction to basketball skill building!  This 4-week Tuesday evening program will be held at Pte. Tremble Elementary.  Fall session begins October 13^th; Winter session begins January 12^th.   Cost: $15.  Ages 5-8 meet @ 6:00-7:00 p.m., ages 9-12 meet @ 7:00-8:00 p.m.

 After School Golf Academy  CHILDREN & ADULTS….Get in the swing for Spring!  These after school golf lessons are taught by PGA professional Jeff Sobczak.  Thursday evening program held at Algonquin Middle School begins January 28^th.  Cost: $56, 4 weeks.  K-8^th grade class 6:00-7:00 p.m., 9^th grade-adult class is 7:30-8:30 p.m.

Elv es Workshop  Elementary age craft projects can be used for holiday gift giving!  Starts Tues. Nov. 24^th 4:00-5:00 p.m. @ Pte. Tremble Elementary.   Cost:  $8 per week or $20 for all 3 weeks.

Roll It, Take It, Leave It, Move It  By the end of the Roll It, Take It, Leave It, Move It - Know Your Employer Retirement Plan Options seminar, participants will have a solid understanding of the benefits and disadvantages of each employer retirement plan distribution option as it pertains to their individual situation. This seminar will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9^th at Pte. Tremble Elementary.  Presenter:  Shawn Smith. Cost: $3/person, $5/couple.  Registration deadline is December 7^th.

 Paying For Education  This 30-minute educational program is designed for parents and grandparents interested in learning the options available for saving and paying for a child’s education.  This seminar will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13^th at Pte. Tremble Elementary.  Presenter:  Shawn Smith.  Cost: $3/person, $5/couple.  Registration deadline is January 11^th.

Dad – Daughter Date Night  Wednesday, February 10, 2010 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. $20.00 per couple, $10 additional person.  All ages are welcome!  Includes dancing with a disk jockey, flower, keepsake photo, light refreshments and tiara for the young ladies!  Pre-registration by February 2^nd is required. 

Mom – Son Basketball Game  Thursday, March 25, 2010 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. $20.00 per couple, $10 additional person.  All ages are welcome!  Couples will participate in a fun basketball competition, no experience needed!  Includes keepsake trophy and photo, flower for Mom and light refreshments.  Pre-registration by March 15^th is required
