DRC's Polar Express

Relive the magic of the Polar Express and enjoy the Holiday lights on Saturday, December 12, 2009.  Board the bus at the Algonac Community Center and travel through the community listening to this popular story while enjoying all of the beautiful holiday lights!  The bus will stop at the Algonac Church of Christ’s live nativity scene while participants can stretch their legs, enjoy the display or go inside for cookies and hot cocoa!  Don’t be surprised if a special guest joins us before we take off for home.  Buses depart at 5:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.  Pre-registration by December 10^th is required ~ no exceptions due to bus capacity.  Call DRC today to reserve your seat!  Cost: $3 per person.

Ski & Snowboard Club  Friday Nights @ Pine Knob!

All students, beginner to expert, grades 6-12, are invited to join DRC’s Ski & Snowboard Club @ Pine Knob!  Pine Knob ski area is one of Metro Detroit’s largest resorts with 17 runs, several lifts and comfortable lodge.  Tentative start date, weather permitting, is 12/18/09 and the club will meet Friday nights throughout the winter.  Call the DRC office for more information and registration packet.  Membership is only $15 and includes two ski lessons or one snowboard lesson, discounts on lift tickets and equipment.  

Detroit Red Wings Friday, December 11^th puck drops @ 7:30 p.m.

Detroit  Red Wings take on the Anaheim Ducks @ Joe Louis Arena!  Cost is only $48 per person includes ticket, bus transportation & parking!  Bus leaves Pte. Tremble Elementary @ 6PM.  Tickets must be reserved before 11/18/09!  Call the DRC Office to reserve your seat!

 Detroit Pistons Sunday, January 31^st  6:00 p.m. tip-off

Detroit  Pistons vs. Orlando Magic @ The Palace of Auburn Hills!  Cost is only $33 (upper) or $43(lower) per person includes ticket, transportation & parking!  Bus leaves Algonac @ 4PM.  Tickets must be reserved before 12/30/09!  Call the DRC Office to reserve your seat!
